Sine Classic is seeking a Contract Estimator Executive in Petaling Jaya to deliver accurate cost estimates for commercial renovation projects and support competitive bids. You will analyse plans, gather data, and maintain cost databases while collaborating with project teams to ensure financial viability.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years in renovation estimating, strong plan-reading skills, and proficiency with estimating tools.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience as a Contract Estimator or similar in renovation
• Able to read and interpret construction plans, specs, and drawings
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify risks
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
• Proficient in estimating software and tools (spreadsheets, databases)
• Good communication and interpersonal skills for cross-functional collaboration
• Relevant tertiary qualification in Construction, Quantity Surveying, or related field

We are seeking a talented Contract Estimator Executive to join our dynamic team at Sine Classic. In this full-time role, you will be responsible for providing accurate and timely cost estimates for Commercial Renovation projects, ensuring the financial viability of our bids. Based in the thriving city of Petaling Jaya, Selangor, this position is integral to our company's continued success in the construction industry.

What you'll be doing

• Prepare detailed cost estimates for a wide range of construction projects, including materials, labour, equipment, and subcontractor costs
• Analyse project plans, specifications, and drawings to identify potential risks and opportunities for cost savings
• Collaborate with project managers, site supervisors, and other stakeholders to gather and verify cost data
• Develop and maintain cost databases, allowing for efficient and accurate estimating
• Assist in the preparation of bid proposals, ensuring they are competitive and compliant with industry standards
• Stay up-to-date with market trends, material prices, and industry regulations to provide informed recommendations
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of the company's estimating processes and procedures

What we're looking for
