Job summary

AGENSI PEKERJAAN TRUST RECRUIT SDN. BHD. seeks a Technical Consulting Sales Engineer to deliver testing and operational solutions for QA/QC, Industrial Automation & Process Control across Malaysian manufacturing industries.

The role requires managing the full sales cycle and acting as a trusted advisor to optimize client processes. Key qualifications include a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field, 1–2 years in technical sales or engineering, and proficiency in English and Bahasa

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of technical sales or engineering experience; fresh graduates with strong technical aptitude are welcome.
• Bachelor's degree or higher in Engineering/Technology or related field required.
• Fluency in English and Bahasa Malaysia; Mandarin preferred for overseas clients.
• Willingness to travel frequently across Malaysia to visit clients and demonstrate products.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for engaging stakeholders at all levels.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end sales cycle including lead discovery, solution development, proposal, negotiation, and closure.
• Consult on technical solutions by understanding client requirements and demonstrating product applications.
• Lead business development and client engagement with outbound outreach and product demos.
• Oversee territory/product line revenue growth within assigned region.
• Track sales metrics to meet or exceed targets.
• Participate in team strategy and product training to sharpen consultative selling skills.

We are looking for a technical Consulting Sales Engineer to deliver specialized testing and operational solutions for QA/QC, Industrial Automation & Process Control Technology across manufacturing industries. You will manage the full sales cycle and act as a trusted advisor to help clients optimize their processes.

Key Responsibilities

• End-to-End Sales Management: Execute the complete sales cycle, including lead discovery, solution development, proposal presentation, negotiation, and deal closure.
• Technical Solution Consulting: Engage directly with prospective clients to understand their operational and application testing requirements, demonstrating how our products effectively address their needs.
• Business Development & Client Engagement: Conduct outbound outreach to qualify leads, schedule consultative appointments, and perform live product demonstrations for end-users.
• Territory & Product Line Leadership: Manage and drive revenue growth for designated product lines within your assigned geographical territory.
• Performance & Target Achievement: Track, review, and analyze individual sales metrics to consistently meet or exceed performance targets.
• Continuous Professional Development: Participate in team strategy sessions and product training to continually refine technical applications knowledge and consultative selling skills.

Job Requirements

• Education: Bachelor’s Degree, Post-Graduate Diploma, or Professional Degree in Engineering, Technology, or a related field.
• Experience: Minimum 1-2 years of technical sales or engineering experience; ambitious fresh graduates with strong technical aptitude are welcome to apply.
• Language Proficiency: Full working proficiency in English and Bahasa Malaysia. Fluency in Mandarin is preferred to liaise with overseas Mandarin-speaking clients.
• Mobility: Must possess personal transport and be willing to travel frequently across Malaysia for client visits and demonstrations.
• Interpersonal Skills: Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities with a strong comfort level engaging stakeholders across all organizational levels in manufacturing environments.
• Availability: Immediate or short-notice availability is preferred.
