Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in construction site supervision or a similar supervisory role.
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, equipment and safety regulations.
• Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to motivate and lead diverse teams.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting construction drawings, plans and specifications.
• Sound understanding of project management principles and quality control procedures.
• Competency in using basic computer applications for documentation and reporting.
• Current or ability to obtain CIDB or equivalent safety qualifications.
• Attention to detail and a strong commitment to maintaining high safety and quality standards.
• Physical ability to work on construction sites and adapt to varying weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate all activities on the construction site, ensuring work progresses according to project schedules and specifications.
• Monitor and enforce health, safety and environmental standards to maintain a safe working environment for all personnel.
• Manage workforce scheduling, allocation of tasks and daily reporting to ensure optimal productivity and resource utilisation.
• Conduct daily site inspections to verify quality of work and compliance with construction plans and industry standards.
• Liaise between the project management office and on-site teams to communicate updates, changes and instructions.
• Maintain accurate records of site activities, including daily logs, progress reports and incident documentation.
• Manage site materials and equipment, ensuring proper storage, maintenance and efficient use.
• Identify and address potential safety hazards, operational delays and quality issues before they escalated.
• Support training and development of site personnel to enhance skills and maintain professional standards.
• Ensure compliance with relevant construction regulations, permits and company policies.
