Job summary

Global View Engineering Sdn Bhd (GVESB) is seeking a Site Safety Supervisor to oversee safety across construction sites, implement safety plans, conduct inductions, and lead toolbox talks. The role involves investigating incidents and coordinating with project teams to uphold safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular safety inspections and audits across construction sites to identify hazards and ensure regulatory compliance
• Develop, implement and maintain site safety plans tailored to project requirements and risk profiles
• Provide health and safety induction and training to site personnel and emergency procedures
• Investigate accidents, near-misses and incidents, document findings and implement corrective actions
• Monitor daily activities to enforce safe working practices and stop unsafe work when needed
• Liaise with project managers, contractors and subcontractors to maintain safety standards
• Maintain safety records and prepare reports for management and authorities
• Identify and recommend improvements to safety systems, equipment and processes
