Job summary

EVD Engineering Sdn Bhd is seeking a Safety, Health and Environment (SHE) professional to oversee construction-site safety, ensure compliance with standards, and conduct inspections. The role includes toolbox talks, inductions for new staff, incident investigations, and safety committee participation.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of one year in safety, health and environment, a relevant certificate/diploma, and Yellow Book certification, with familiarity in project safety procedures.

Qualifications

• Min 1 year of related working experience in safety, health & environmental.
• At least certificate/ diploma in Occupational Safety & Health/ or any related field.
• Preferable site safety experience before in highway/ railway project environment.
• Familiar in site safety work procedure in project environment.
• Yellow Book holder is a must for this position.

Responsibilities

• Ensure overall construction site compliance to safety standards and legislation.
• Conduct regular SHE inspections per company procedure.
• Assist superior to collect/analyze data and statistics on accidents and diseases.
• Conduct toolbox talks and SHE inductions for new staff; attend safety committee meetings.
• Assist investigations for accidents/near misses and recommend corrective actions.
• Assist management in maintaining ISO 14001 & ISO 45001.
• Responsible for all SHE progress to ensure compliance with safety, health and environment.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
