Job summary

Malaysian Resources Corporation Berhad (MRCB) is seeking a Civil/Geotechnical/Electrical Engineer with at least six years of experience in landscape, electrical, civil and geotechnical construction works to support project controls on site in Ipoh.

You will verify drawings, monitor progress, coordinate with subcontractors and maintain documentation, reporting issues and ensuring quality, safety and schedule adherence for landmark HV projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor Degree in Civil/Structural/Electrical Engineering from a recognized Educational Institution.
• Minimum six (6) years working in Landscape, Electrical Engineering, Civil & Geotechnical Construction Works.
• Experience in Landscape or High Voltage Power Industry including construction of Power Transmission Lines (overhead and underground) and Substations up to 500KV is an added advantage.
• Sound knowledge in Landscape, Civil & Structural Design Works and experience working with Consultants is an added advantage.
• Computer literate especially with Google Workspace including Microsoft Office and able to use Microsoft Project
• Familiar with Feasibility Study report preparations
• Willing to relocate

Responsibilities

• Assist Immediate Superior in reporting Landscape, C&S and M&E construction progress and advise on solutions.
• Assist in establishing reporting format/system and procedures for the department at site.
• Verify engineering drawings for technical and cost optimization before submission.
• Monitor design and engineering progress against the project work programme.
• Coordinate electrical works and material delivery to site with subcontractors while minimizing hindrance to site activities.
