Job summary

Malaysian Resources Corporation Berhad is seeking a Project Coordinator to assist the Manager and Head of Project in delivering projects on time and within policy. You will coordinate with consultants, contractors, and internal teams, monitor progress, and support budgeting, procurement, and reporting activities.

The role requires a Diploma/Degree in civil or project management fields and at least 3 years’ hands-on experience in property, project development, and construction, with proficiency

Qualifications

• Diploma/Degree in Civil/Project Management/Structural Engineering/Mechanical/Electrical or equivalent.
• Minimum of 3 years hands-on experience in property, project development, and construction.
• Involved from conceptual design stage until handover of the project.
• Experience coordinating with design, procurement, contracts, legal, and admin.
• Familiar with MS Office and Google Workspace.
• Willing to relocate.

Responsibilities

• Assist Manager and Head of Project to manage the project, including progress reports, costing, and paperwork.
• Work with inter-department teams to obtain clearance and share information needed to complete tasks.
• Coordinate with consultants to monitor project progress within target timelines.
• Report issues and update planning, progress, and issues to Manager/Head of Project.
• Liaise with contractors/sub-contractors/vendors for information/documentation.
• Attend site evaluations, measurements, complaints and inspections.
• Maintain records for all correspondences and attend client/consultant/site progress meetings.
• Assist in monitoring project cost and timeline of contractors/vendors.
• Prepare and update MRCB monthly reports and assist in progress billing/payments.
• Assist PM in preparing project budget, procurement reports, and management papers.
