Job summary

Malaysian Resources Corporation Berhad seeks an experienced M&E Engineer to supervise the installation and commissioning of highway M&E systems, including lighting, CCTV, ITS, and power distribution. You will oversee on-site subcontractors, coordinate with civil teams, and ensure regulatory compliance for safety and efficiency.

Applicants should have 3–5 years in M&E with highway project exposure, and familiarity with utility approvals and resilience for critical safety systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering from a recognized institution.
• 3–5 years of progressive M&E engineering experience, with 1–2 years on infrastructure/highway projects.
• Graduate Member of a national engineering board is highly preferred.
• Direct experience supervising highway-specific systems: lighting grids, ITS, CCTV, toll systems.
• Experience with local utility providers and government authorities for approvals.

Responsibilities

• Supervise installation and commissioning of highway M&E systems (lighting, CCTV, ITS).
• Oversee power distribution networks, substations, and backup generators.
• Manage on-site M&E subcontractors and coordinate with civil teams to avoid clashes.
• Ensure regulatory and safety compliance for highway electronics and lighting.
• Liaise with authorities for approvals and utility connections.
• Maintain system reliability and uptime for emergency and safety systems.
