Job summary

EAR ENGINEERING SDN BHD is seeking a Civil/Construction professional to manage and coordinate construction activities, ensuring work aligns with drawings, specs, quality, safety, budget and schedule.

You will review drawings, plan activities, and coordinate with consultants, contractors, subcontractors, and suppliers while monitoring progress and maintaining documentation. Strong communication and leadership are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree / Diploma in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Building Engineering, or related field.
• 2–5 years of working experience in construction/project engineering preferred.
• Experience in building, civil, infrastructure, or related construction projects is an advantage.
• Able to read and interpret technical drawings, shop drawings, and construction plans.
• Familiar with AutoCAD and Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Word.
• Good understanding of quality control, site safety, and construction procedures.
• Strong communication, coordination, problem-solving, and leadership skills.
• Able to work independently with consultants, contractors, subcontractors, and project teams.

Responsibilities

• Manage and coordinate construction activities to meet approved drawings, specifications, quality standards, safety requirements, budget, and schedule.
• Plan, coordinate, and monitor daily construction activities.
• Review construction drawings, specifications, method statements, and project requirements.
• Coordinate with consultants, contractors, subcontractors, suppliers, and site personnel.
• Monitor project progress and ensure works are completed according to the approved schedule.
• Supervise construction works to ensure compliance with drawings, specifications, and quality requirements.
• Prepare and manage project documentation, including RFI, shop drawings, material submissions, inspection requests, and progress reports.
• Identify and resolve technical and site-related issues.
• Monitor manpower, materials, equipment, and other site resources.
• Attend site, technical, coordination, and progress meetings.
• Monitor subcontractors' work progress, quality, and performance.
