Job summary

AGENSI PEKERJAAN GLOBAL HIRE SDN. BHD. is recruiting Construction Project Engineers for projects in Negeri Sembilan, Pahang and Selangor.

Fresh graduates from Construction Project Management, Civil/Structural/M&E disciplines are encouraged to apply. You will assist the project team in coordinating site activities, monitoring progress, maintaining documentation, and ensuring works meet drawings, specs, quality standards and schedules.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Project Management, Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, M&E Engineering or any other construction-related discipline.
• Fresh graduates are strongly encouraged to apply.
• Candidates with construction site internship or working experience will have an added advantage.
• Willing to work at one of the stated project locations in Negeri Sembilan, Pahang or Selangor.
• Good communication, coordination and problem-solving skills.
• Responsible, willing to learn and able to work as part of a project team.
• Basic knowledge of AutoCAD, Revit, Microsoft Project or other construction-related software will be an advantage.
• Possession of a valid CIDB Green Card will be an advantage.
• Ability to communicate in Mandarin will be an added advantage for coordination with Mandarin-speaking project teams.

Responsibilities

• Assist in coordinating daily construction and site activities.
• Monitor construction progress and ensure that works are carried out according to approved drawings, specifications and project requirements.
• Coordinate with Project Managers, engineers, consultants, contractors, subcontractors and suppliers.
• Participate in site inspections and project coordination meetings.
• Assist in monitoring project quality, safety and work progress.
• Identify site issues and follow up with the relevant parties to ensure timely resolution.
• Assist in preparing progress reports, site records, inspection records and other project documentation.
• Monitor the delivery and usage of construction materials at the project site.
• Assist in ensuring that construction works are completed according to the project schedule.
• Support the project team in quality control, planning, coordination and contract administration.

About the role
