Job summary

Sinergia Talents is seeking a Project Engineer for fresh graduates to join our engineering team in Malaysia. You will help coordinate projects, monitor progress, and ensure deadlines and budgets are met while collaborating with management.

Ideal candidates hold an engineering degree or diploma and are fluent in Chinese. Travel between Northern Malaysia sites will be required, so own transport is necessary.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree or diploma (mechanical/electrical preferred).
• Fluent in Chinese for communicating with Chinese-speaking clients.
• Willing to travel between project sites in Northern Malaysia with own transportation.

Responsibilities

• Ensure projects meet deadlines, objectives and budgets.
• Review proposals and plans to set project objectives with management.
• Assign phases and personnel to project elements.
• Maintain schedules by monitoring progress and coordinating activities.
• Control costs by approving expenditures and managing contractor contracts.
• Prepare reports, papers and proposals for stakeholders.

About the job Project Engineer (Fresh Graduates)

Responsibilities

• Ensuring that projects meet their deadlines, fulfill their objectives and remain within their budgets
• Developing project objectives by reviewing project proposals and plans and conferring with management
• Determining project responsibilities by identifying phases and elements and assigning personnel to phases and elements
• Maintaining project schedule by monitoring project progress and coordinating activities
• Controlling project costs by approving expenditures and administering contractor contracts
• To collate and prepare necessary reports, papers and proposals

Requirements

• Diploma or Bachelors degree in Engineering (Preferably Mechanical or Electrical Engineering)
• Excellent knowledge of AutoCAD (main software), MS Office and Project skills
• Candidate must be fluent in Chinese to effectively communicate with Chinese speakingclients
• Must possess own transportation as frequent travel is required between project sites in Northern Malaysia, including Penang, Kulim Hi-Tech, Sungai Petani, and Alor Setar
