Job summary

ALFA LAGENDA SDN. BHD. is seeking a motivated Project Engineer to support planning, coordination, monitoring and reporting of construction and engineering projects in Johor Bahru.

You will work with project and site teams to maintain accurate project information across design, labour, materials, machinery, costs, and schedules. The role requires an organised, technically minded, collaborative individual eager to contribute to successful project delivery and relevant stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related engineering discipline.
• Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
• Strong communication, teamwork, organisation and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to interpret technical information and maintain accurate project records.
• Proactive, detail-oriented, and willing to learn in a project or site-based environment.
• Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office or similar project documentation tools is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Support the preparation, coordination, and monitoring of project plans, design information, work schedules, and reporting requirements.
• Collect, verify, update, and maintain project data for accurate progress tracking and reporting.
• Assist in preparing and maintaining schedules for labour, materials, machinery, costs, and other project resources.
• Monitor project activities and help track progress against schedules, milestones, and requirements.
• Coordinate with engineers, consultants, contractors, suppliers, site teams, and internal stakeholders as required.
• Assist with identifying project issues, delays, resource constraints, and potential risks, and elevate them to the relevant project lead.
• Support the preparation of regular project updates, progress reports, and schedule revisions.
• Maintain clear and accurate project records, documentation, and data updates.
• Contribute to effective teamwork and continuous improvement in project planning and coordination processes.
