Job summary

LEGEND DECORATION (MALAYSIA) SDN. BHD. is seeking a site-based project coordinator for interior fit-out works in Kuala Lumpur. You will plan, coordinate, and execute projects on site, ensuring timely completion and quality while liaising with clients, consultants and subcontractors.

Responsibilities include developing detailed project plans, managing on-site supervision, reading CAD drawings, and assisting BOQ/tender preparation. Occasional overseas assignments of 3–6 months may be required.

Qualifications

• Degree or Diploma in Civil or Structural Engineering.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in interior fit-out or related industries.
• Experience in interiors, Mechanical and Electrical sectors is an advantage.

Plan, coordinate, and execute interior fit-out projects on site to ensure timely completion and quality delivery. Collaborate with project managers and stakeholders to manage budgets, schedules, and subcontractors while providing technical guidance and client liaison throughout project phases.

Responsibilities

Develop and implement detailed project plans and schedules in collaboration with project managers to meet budget and timeline objectives

Coordinate and manage subcontractors on site, including sourcing, briefing, and overseeing execution to ensure compliance with project requirements

Conduct site audits and measurements to monitor progress and maintain quality standards

Liaise proactively with clients and consultants to resolve project issues and align expectations

Supervise all on-site works, providing technical guidance and ensuring adherence to safety and quality standards

Assist project managers in preparing Bills of Quantities (BOQ), quotations, and tender submissions during off-site periods

Read and interpret CAD drawings to guide project execution and technical decisions

Travel overseas for assignments lasting 3 to 6 months as required to support project delivery

Preferred competencies and qualifications

Degree or Diploma in Civil, Structural Engineering, or equivalent

Minimum 3 years of experience in interior fit-out or related industries, with consideration for executive candidates with less experience

Experience in interiors, Mechanical, and Electrical industries is an advantage

Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively within teams

Strong interpersonal and communication skills to engage effectively with diverse stakeholders

Resourcefulness in problem-solving and managing project challenges
