Job summary

Randstad Malaysia seeks an experienced Construction Manager to lead site operations for interior design and fit-out projects. You will bridge design vision and construction, overseeing daily activities, managing trades, and delivering on time and within budget while upholding high quality.

Reporting directly to the Project Director, you will guide on-site teams, coordinate with designers and engineers, and drive safety, quality, and meticulous problem-solving with detail-oriented leadership.

Qualifications

• Experience: 3–5+ years of site management within Interior Design / Fit-Out.
• Strong skills in site logistics, joinery/M&E detailing, subcontractor management, quality control.
• Proactive problem-solver with leadership and keen attention to detail.

About the Job

On behalf of our client, we are seeking an experienced Construction Manager to take ownership of site operations. In this role, you will bridge the gap between design vision and physical reality, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

• Site Management: Oversee daily site operations, trade contractors, and vendors across commercial and residential fit-outs.

• Design & Execution Alignment: Partner with interior designers, engineers, and clients to resolve site challenges without compromising design intent.

• Quality & Safety Control: Maintain strict adherence to project schedules, safety regulations, and budget parameters.

About the Team & Leadership

You will be joining a collaborative, execution-focused team that deeply values site expertise. Reporting directly to the Project Director, you will lead on-site trade partners and collaborate closely with design leads who respect your technical input and rely on your leadership.
