Job summary

PERSOL Malaysia is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead interior fit-out projects for F&B and commercial spaces. You will oversee end-to-end delivery, coordinate a team of six Site Supervisors, and ensure quality, safety, and on-time handover across multiple projects.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in F&B interior fit-out projects.
• Proven experience in project management within interior design & build, commercial fit-out, or renovation.
• Experience leading and coordinating site teams or multiple Site Supervisors.
• Strong knowledge of project scheduling, site coordination, subcontractor management, and project cost monitoring.
• Experience handling project variations, claims, and handover processes.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.

Responsibilities

Our client, an expanding interior design and build company, is looking for a hands‑on Project Manager to oversee commercial fit-out projects from commencement through completion and handover.

You will lead and coordinate a team of 6 Site Supervisors, ensuring smooth site execution, project progress, quality, and timely delivery across multiple projects.

• Develop project schedules, work programmes, and milestones to ensure projects are delivered on time.
• Coordinate with clients, designers, QS, subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams.
• Monitor project costs, budgets, variations, progress claims, and subcontractor claims in coordination with the QS and Finance teams.
• Conduct site visits and progress meetings to monitor quality, resolve technical issues, and address delays.
• Ensure site works comply with approved drawings, specifications, quality standards, and safety requirements.
• Coordinate rectification works, project completion, and final handover to clients.
