SHINRYO (MALAYSIA) SDN. BHD. is seeking a Construction Manager to plan, coordinate, and supervise Mechanical & Electrical construction activities across HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection for major projects in Malaysia.
You will lead site teams, subcontractors, and suppliers to achieve milestones, review drawings and schedules, and ensure safe, compliant execution on site.

Lead site teams, subcontractors, and suppliers to achieve project milestones and productivity targets.
Review drawings, specifications, coordinated services layouts, and work programmes before execution.
Prepare, review, and guide the team in developing Method Statements and work procedures for safe and efficient site execution.
Coordinate M&E works with architectural, structural, civil, and specialist trades to resolve clashes and site constraints.
Prepare and review logistics and lifting plans for heavy equipment delivery and installation.
Prepare S-curves, manpower loading, progress reports, look-ahead schedules, and recovery plans to monitor and control project progress.
Ensure compliance with approved drawings, contract requirements, statutory regulations, safety procedures, and quality standards.
Conduct progress, coordination, safety, and technical meetings with consultants, clients, authorities, and subcontractors.
Manage inspections, testing, commissioning, defect rectification, as-built documentation, operation manuals, and final handover.
Identify project risks, technical issues, and potential claims, and escalated them with practical recommendations.

Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, Electrical Engineering, Building Services, Construction Management, or a related field.
Minimum 8 years of construction experience, including at least 3 years in management or senior site leadership role.
Strong hands-on experience delivering M&E works for commercial, industrial, infrastructure, data centre, healthcare, residential, or similar projects.
Good knowledge of construction sequencing, M&E coordination, testing and commissioning, contract administration, and statutory requirements.
Proven ability to manage multidisciplinary teams, subcontractors, schedules, budgets, quality, and site safety.
Able to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced construction environment.
Strong leadership, communication, negotiation, reporting, and problem-solving skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and project planning software; familiarity with BIM coordination is an advantage.
Relevant safety certification and professional registration will be an added advantage.
