Job summary

Gadang is seeking a Construction Project Manager in Johor Bahru to lead multi-site builds and ensure projects meet schedules and budgets. You will supervise teams, subcontractors, and suppliers, and coordinate with clients and engineers to maintain alignment on objectives.

The role requires 8–10 years in construction management, a strong grasp of safety regulations, and proven ability to manage budgets while maintaining high quality.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in civil engineering, construction management or equivalent.
• 8–10 years of experience in construction management or supervisory roles.
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, safety regulations and building codes.
• Proven track record of managing multiple construction projects simultaneously.
• Excellent planning and scheduling abilities; proficient in MS Project or similar.
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills with diverse stakeholders.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making capabilities under pressure.
• Experience managing budgets and controlling project costs.
• Knowledge of health and safety management systems on construction sites.
• Own transport and willingness to base at Johor Bahru; able to work 6 days a week.

What we're looking for

• Bachelor Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or its equivalent
• Minimum 8-10 years of experience in construction management or a similar supervisory role within the construction industry
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, safety regulations and building codes
• Proven track record of successfully managing multiple construction projects simultaneously
• Excellent project planning and scheduling abilities, with proficiency in relevant software (such as Microsoft Project or similar tools)
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills to liaise effectively with diverse stakeholders
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making capabilities under pressure
• Demonstrated ability to manage budgets and control project costs effectively
• Knowledge of health and safety management systems and construction site safety protocols
• Relevant qualifications such as a diploma or degree in construction management, civil engineering or related field
• Possess own transport and willing to be base at Johor Bahru and able to work 6 days a week (Monday to Saturday), from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
• Preferred experience with infrastructure or large-scale commercial projects
