Job summary

Talent Recruit is seeking a Construction (Project) Manager to join their construction team in Malaysia. You will plan, coordinate, and supervise high-rise construction projects, ensuring quality, safety, and regulatory compliance.

Strong leadership and communication are essential for coordinating with consultants, clients, and authorities. Requirements include a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management and 8–10 years of relevant experience with main contractors

• BEM registration is an advantage.
• 8–10 years of experience in building construction, preferably high-rise.

Responsibilities

• Project Planning and Coordination: plan, schedule, and manage daily construction activities.
• Site Supervision: lead site teams and subcontractors to ensure quality.
• Quality and Compliance: implement QMS and ensure safety/regulatory compliance.
• Progress Monitoring and Reporting: track milestones and report progress to management.
• Issue Resolution and Stakeholder Liaison: resolve site challenges and coordinate with consultants, clients, and authorities.

Responsibilities:

• Project Planning and Coordination: Plan, schedule, and manage daily construction activities, ensuring resource optimization and timely completion of projects.
• Site Supervision: Lead and monitor site teams (managers, surveyors, engineers) and subcontractors to ensure compliance with plans, specifications, and quality standards.
• Quality and Compliance: Implement Quality Management Systems (QMS), oversee testing procedures, and ensure adherence to safety and regulatory requirements.
• Progress Monitoring and Reporting: Track project milestones, manage subcontractor performance, and provide regular progress updates to Management.
• Issue Resolution and Stakeholder Liaison: Address site challenges, resolve conflicts, and coordinate with consultants, clients, and authorities for smooth project execution.

Requirement:

• Bachelors Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field. Registration with the Board of Engineers Malaysia (BEM) is an advantage.
• At least 8 - 10 years of relevant experience in building construction,with a preference for high-rise projects.
• Experience with main contractors is highly desirable.
• Strong problem-solving and project management skills, with exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities.
