Job summary

YEKON EQUIPMENT (M) SDN BHD is seeking a Sales Executive to drive growth in the sale and rental of tower cranes, passenger hoists, and related equipment. You will develop strategic plans to expand the customer base and increase revenue in East and West Malaysia, while building strong client relationships.

You will report to the MD/GM, identify market opportunities, win new business, and coordinate with developers, contractors, and QS professionals. Travel for business is expected as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Business Administration, Marketing, Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 2-3 years of experience in sales, preferably within construction machinery, heavy equipment, or rental.
• Proven track record in achieving and exceeding sales targets.
• Good understanding of construction and equipment rental market dynamics.

Responsibilities

• Identify new business opportunities, market segments, and emerging trends within the machinery supply and rental market.
• Report to the Managing Director/ General Manager on sales performance, market trends, and business development progress.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with developers, main contractors, subcontractors, consultants, and quantity surveyors within the construction industry.
• Monitor competitors' activities, pricing, and product offerings to maintain a competitive edge.
• Prepare quotations, proposals, and tender submissions in accordance with company guidelines.
• Negotiate contracts, pricing, and payment terms to secure profitable deals and long-term partnerships.
