Job summary

Konecranes in Malaysia (Selangor) seeks an experienced sales professional to drive revenue for repairs, retrofits, hoists, and related services. You will manage opportunities from inside sales inputs, develop accounts, and coordinate responses to customers across the region.

Responsibilities include planning, lead generation, market penetration, and maintaining strong customer relationships while meeting safety and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• Experience in industry-related equipment sales or services sales is preferred.
• Understanding of industrial products and ability to develop new accounts.
• Proven sales management and business development experience.
• Excellent communication, negotiation and relationship-building skills.
• Willingness to travel locally or outside the central region as needed.
• Proficiency with MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Responsibilities

• Develops market / business plans and sales strategy to meet service contract sales goals.
• Engage in sales activities to sell service contracts including inspections and field modernizations.
• Prepare action plans to search for leads and prospects.
• Initiate and coordinate development of plans to penetrate new markets.
• Develop and implement sales plans, targets and budgets as needed.
• Maintain records of pricing, sales, and activity reports.
• Develop new customers and maintain relationships with existing customers.
• Provide timely feedback and reports to manager on performance.
• Comply with OHS acts and safety policies to maintain a safe workplace.
• Report hazards, incidents and injuries per company procedures.
• Participate in programs to improve health and safety in the workplace.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
