Job summary

QL GLOBAL RESOURCES SDN BHD is seeking a hands-on HR personnel to drive people strategies within a fast-paced construction environment in Shah Alam, Malaysia. You will lead recruitment, payroll, compliance, and foreign worker administration, ensuring a compliant, high-performing workforce.

The role blends strategy with execution, offering exposure to end-to-end HR operations, employee relations, training, and performance management across site-based and office staff.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in HR, business or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of professional HR management experience.
• At least 2 years in construction/engineering/project-based industry.
• Strong knowledge of Malaysian employment law and regulations (OSHA 1994, FMA 1967, CIDB).
• Experience with payroll processing and statutory submissions.

Responsibilities

• Lead recruitment and onboarding of new employees.
• Oversee payroll processing and statutory submissions.
• Manage foreign worker administration, permits, renewals, levy payments, and repatriation.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA 1994, FMA 1967, CIDB regulations and local laws.
• Maintain HR records and generate workforce analytics.
• Design and deliver training and development programs.
