Job summary

Great Wall Construction Company in Miri, Sarawak, seeks a detail‑oriented Quotation Clerk to prepare accurate quotations for construction projects. You will interpret tender documents and quantify materials and labour to support profitable bids.

Collaborate with project managers, maintain quotations records, and provide administrative support to estimating processes. A proven background in construction quotation roles and proficiency with MS Office and estimating software are expected.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Quotation Clerk or similar role in the construction industry.
• Strong numerical and analytical skills with the ability to prepare detailed cost estimates.
• Excellent attention to detail and the ability to work to tight deadlines.
• Proficiency in using construction estimating software and MS Office suite.
• Familiarity with construction materials, labour costs, and industry regulations.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Interpreting tender documents, specifications, and drawings to accurately quantify materials and labour requirements.
• Preparing detailed quotations and cost estimates for construction projects.
• Collaborating with the project management team to review and refine quotations.
• Maintaining comprehensive records of all quotations and bid submissions.
