Job summary

Agensi Pekerjaan Great Pyramid Sdn Bhd is seeking a knowledgeable Computer Systems Trainer for a premier TVET college client in Malaysia. The role focuses on delivering training in computer systems and networking, combining theoretical and hands-on learning to develop industry-relevant skills.

The trainer will prepare lesson plans, assessments, and practical exercises, conduct classroom and lab sessions, and assess student progress while maintaining records and ensuring quality standards.

Qualifications

• Diploma or higher in ICT-related field with focus on computer systems or networking.
• TVET qualification is an advantage.
• At least 1 year of teaching or training experience.
• Strong knowledge of computer hardware, software, and networks.
• Able to conduct practical labs and assessments.
• Proficient in MS Office and digital learning tools.

Responsibilities

• Deliver training in Computer Systems, Computer Networking, and related IT subjects.
• Prepare lesson plans, teaching materials, assessments, and practical exercises.

Requirements

• Diploma, Advanced Diploma, or equivalent qualification in Computer Systems, Computer Networking Technology, Information Technology, Computer Science or other related ICT fields.
• TVET Diploma or Advanced Diploma is an added advantage.
• Minimum 1 year of teaching or training experience in a related field.
• Strong knowledge of Computer hardware and software, Operating systems (Windows/Linux), Computer networking fundamentals, Network installation, configuration, and troubleshooting.
• Good presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to conduct practical, hands‑on training sessions.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and digital learning tools.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in TVET institutions or skills training centres is preferred.
• Familiarity with competency‑based education and assessment is an added advantage.
