Job summary

DSIC SDN. BHD. in Petaling Jaya is seeking a trainer to deliver automotive theory and practical sessions, emphasizing professionalism and hands-on learning. You will collaborate with managers and fellow lecturers to analyze and improve curricula.

The role requires a Diploma or equivalent in automotive fields, plus teaching or training experience; proficiency with MS Office; strong communication and presentation skills; and a passion for student development in a modern facility.

Qualifications

• Diploma or equivalent in automotive or related field.
• VTO/TVET certificates are a plus.
• Experience in teaching or training automotive topics.
• Strong communication and presentation capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Deliver automotive theory and practical lessons punctually and professionally.
• Motivate students and ensure active participation.
• Plan and prepare classes aligned to learning outcomes.
• Create and improvise assessment materials aligned to learning outcomes.
• Mark assessments and record marks on time.
• Involve in documentation and ad-hoc tasks as assigned.
• Report to the manager on class progress and implement feedback.

• Candidate must posses at least Diploma, DKM or DLKM in AUTOMOTIVE or related fields.
• Candidate with VTO/TVET/TVET-I and Induksi certificate will be an added advantage.
• Relevant industry and training experience are encouraged to apply.
• Strong interpersonal and presentation skills.
• Passionate in teaching.
• Experience in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel.

Position Available at - Petaling Jaya, Malacca

Main Role

The trainer will play an essential role in the implementation and delivery of our curriculum as well as teaching professionalism to our students in automotive training. He or She also will be responsible for working with managers, and other lecturers to analyze, assess, and improve our educational programs.

Key Responsibilities

• To deliver the automotive theory and practical lessons punctually, professionally, and energetically.
• To motivate the students and ensure the participations of students in the class.
• To plan and prepare the class ahead, create and improvise the teaching materials strictly according to the learning outcomes.
• To create and improvise the assessment materials strictly according to the learning outcomes.
• To mark the assessment and key in the marks on time.
• To involve in documentation work and any ad-hoc work as assigned.
• To report to the manager on the class and student progression, get feedback from the manager and improvise the class.
