Job summary

Hong Leong Bank in Malaysia is seeking an Executive/Senior Executive/Assistant Manager, Community Deposits Specialist to acquire deposits from customers and businesses. You will build leads for other products and explain services, with lead generation, proposals, and follow-ups in branch settings.

You will work across industries and report to the Branch Manager, focusing on payroll accounts and delivering excellent customer service while complying with regulatory guidelines.

Qualifications

• Malaysian citizen
• Fresh graduates are welcome to apply
• Candidates without SPM but have at least 2 years of sales experience are welcome

Responsibilities

• Generate and qualify leads to achieve acquisition goals.
• Develop and schedule sales proposals and activities including calls to new potential and existing clients to ensure pipeline generation.
• Ensure customer service satisfaction and good client relationships including client briefing and training and responding to sales enquiries by phone, email or in person.
• Follow up on sales activities to ensure sales closure, reporting to management and ensure accounts are open in a timely manner.
• Participate in sales events and roadshows where applicable.
• Monitor competitors, market conditions and product development and carry out market research and surveys.
• Ensure all tasks are carried out in full compliance with guidelines and regulations.
