We are looking for a Commissioning Engineer to supervise and participate in plant pre-commissioning, commissioning and start-up activities for a major industrial project. The position will be involved across instrumentation, control systems, electrical, mechanical and rotating equipment commissioning, as well as plant start-up, performance testing, quality control, safety and final handover.
Supervise and support plant pre-commissioning and commissioning activities
Perform and coordinate instrumentation calibration and loop checks
Support control system hardware, configuration and logic checks
Support electrical commissioning activities
Supervise piping and equipment cleaning, inspection and conformity checks
Support testing of compressors, gas/liquid turbines, pumps and other rotating equipment
Participate in plant start-up, process control tuning and performance testing
Support training and operational handover to the end customer
Conduct system-by-system inspections and follow up Inspection & Test Plans
Prepare and follow up site punch lists and corrective actions
Bachelor's Degree in Cryogenic, Chemical, Mechanical Engineering, Process Control Engineering or equivalent
Basic knowledge of Instrumentation, Electrical systems, DCS, rotating equipment, mechanical systems and chemical processes
Minimum 3 years of experience in the Chemical, Oil & Gas or Energy industries
Strong site safety and quality management awareness
Willingness and flexibility to work at different project locations, including international sites
Driven, proactive, curious and willing to learn
Strong communication, coordination and organizational skills
Able to work effectively in a site/project environment
Good command of English, both written and spoken
Chinese language proficiency is an added advantage
