Job summary

SW Food Production Kitchen Sdn Bhd in Kuala Lumpur seeks an experienced Commis Cook & Demi Chef to support daily food preparation, cooking, bakery tasks and kitchen operations while maintaining high standards of food quality, hygiene and cleanliness.

You will assist the Chef and senior team, follow approved recipes and SOPs, prepare hot foods and pastries, portion ingredients, and help with opening/closing duties. Fresh candidates are welcome, with on-the-job training provided.

Qualifications

• Minimum SPM or equivalent. Culinary or F&B certification is an advantage.
• Previous F&B, kitchen or bakery experience is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Assist in daily food preparation and basic cooking tasks.
• Assist in preparing hot food, bakery items, pastries and other menu items.
• Follow approved recipes, instructions and kitchen SOPs accurately.
• Prepare and portion ingredients according to daily requirements.
• Assist the Chef and senior kitchen team during food preparation and service.
• Ensure food is prepared and served on time according to service requirements.
