Job summary

NAJ N BELLE SDN. BHD. is seeking a motivated Commis / Commis Chef to join our kitchen team in Malaysia. You will assist the chefs with daily food preparation and kitchen operations while maintaining high standards of cleanliness, food quality and hygiene.

The role offers daily kitchen duties, training opportunities, and a fast-paced work environment that requires flexibility with shifts, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• Experience in kitchen or food & beverage is an advantage.
• Fresh graduates and candidates with no experience are welcome.
• Willing to learn and work as part of a team.

• Assist chefs with daily food preparation and cooking.
• Prepare ingredients such as vegetables, meat, seafood, sauces, and other food items.
• Follow recipes, portioning, and food preparation standards.
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of the kitchen and workstations.
• Ensure proper storage and handling of food ingredients.
• Assist with stock checking and receiving of kitchen supplies.
• Follow food safety and hygiene procedures.
• Support the kitchen team during busy periods.
• Perform other kitchen duties as assigned by the Chef or Kitchen Supervisor.
