Job summary

Oriental Coffee International Sdn Bhd (Retail) is seeking a Kitchen Cook to support our Sepang kitchen. You will master basic cooking methods, prepare fresh ingredients daily, and help ensure proper storage of food and equipment.

The role requires at least SPM or a Diploma and a minimum of 1 year in F&B, with the ability to work weekends and shifts. You must be a strong team player, able to follow the Head Chef’s directions to maintain high standards.

Qualifications

Candidate must possess at least SPM/Diploma in related field.
At least 1 year of experience in the F&B industry.
Basic knowledge of food safety and kitchen hygiene practices.
Willing to work weekends, public holidays, and shifts.
Able to follow directions from Head Chef and maintain food preparation standards.

Responsibilities

Master all basic cooking methods like cutting of ingredients.
Prepare fresh ingredients for cooking according to menu/SOP needed for the station daily.
Responsible for proper storage of food preparation and storage area.
Improving your food preparation methods based on feedback.
To perform overall cleaning duty of the kitchen area, all crockery and equipment.
To always maintain food safety standard.
Be familiar with the use of all electrical and mechanical equipment in the kitchen and observe safety precautions when handling them.
To undertake any other duties and responsibilities assigned by the Head Chef & Chef De Partie.
