Job summary

AIA Malaysia is seeking a detail-oriented professional to handle customer collections and billing inquiries in Kuala Lumpur. You will contact customers, negotiate payment terms, and work to resolve discrepancies while maintaining accurate records and providing excellent service.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in any discipline; fresh graduates invited.
• 1+ year experience in Customer Service / Call Centre.
• Excellent communication and professional written/verbal skills.
• Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion.
• Strong integrity and customer service orientation.

Responsibilities

• Contact customers via phone to collect outstanding payments.
• Negotiate payment plans and terms with customers.
• Resolve billing issues and discrepancies.
• Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and transactions.
• Follow up on payment commitments and ensure timely resolution.
• Collaborate with internal departments to address customer concerns.
• Adhere to company policies and procedures regarding collections.
• Provide exceptional customer service and maintain a professional demeanor.
• Liaise with other Call Centre members and business partners to resolve inquiries and requests.
• Coordinate with unit leaders to manage call time and volume to meet service targets.
• Participate in training to continuously enhance skills and knowledge.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor to meet requirements.
