About the role

AA Alive Sdn Bhd is seeking a Collections Executive to join our dynamic call centre and customer service team. This is a full-time position based in Batu Caves, Selangor. As a Collections Executive, you will play a vital role in our revenue recovery operations, managing customer accounts and liaising with clients to ensure timely payment of outstanding debts. This position is fundamental to maintaining the financial health of our organisation and requires a professional, persistent and results-driven approach to customer engagement.

Key responsibilities

• Contact customers with outstanding accounts to negotiate payment arrangements and resolve collection issues
• Maintain accurate and detailed records of all collection activities, interactions and outcomes in the company database
• Identify and assess customer payment capability to determine appropriate collection strategies
• Prepare and present collection reports to management, highlighting progress against targets and key metrics
• Follow established collection procedures and compliance protocols whilst adhering to all relevant regulations
• Escalate complex or disputed accounts to senior staff when necessary
• Work collaboratively with other departments to resolve customer queries and facilitate payment solutions
• Achieve and exceed individual collection targets and performance objectives

What we're looking for

• Proven experience working in a collections environment or similar customer service role requiring strong negotiation skills
• Excellent communication abilities, both verbal and written, with the capacity to communicate professionally with customers at all levels
• Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise workload effectively
• Proficiency in using computer systems, databases and Microsoft Office applications
• A results-oriented mindset with the ability to meet and exceed performance targets consistently
• Patience, empathy and emotional resilience when dealing with challenging customer situations
• Ability to work in a fast-paced call centre environment, often handling multiple calls and interactions daily
• Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining accurate records and documentation
• Preferably, previous experience in debt collection, credit management or financial services
