About the role

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Cold Room Clerk to join our team at MAYON FOOD SDN. BHD. in Ipoh, Perak. This is a full-time position that plays a crucial role in maintaining the integrity and efficiency of our cold storage operations. As Cold Room Clerk, you will be responsible for managing inventory, monitoring temperature controls, and ensuring that all products are stored and handled in accordance with strict food safety standards. This role is essential to our logistics and distribution operations, directly contributing to the quality and safety of our food products.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and record cold room temperatures throughout the day to ensure they remain within required parameters
• Receive, inspect and log incoming products into the cold storage system
• Organise and arrange products within the cold room using appropriate storage methods and labelling systems
• Conduct regular stock checks and maintain accurate inventory records
• Prepare and process stock requisitions and dispatch orders efficiently
• Ensure compliance with food safety and hygiene standards at all times
• Identify and report any damaged, expired or spoiled items for immediate removal
• Assist in maintaining the cleanliness and organisation of the cold storage facilities
• Coordinate with logistics teams to ensure smooth product flow
