Job summary

Sysmac Integration Technologies Sdn Bhd in Batam is seeking a CNC Programmer to set up and modify programs for process improvements. You will check materials and tooling requirements and analyze speeds and cutting tools to optimize performance.

This role requires more than 3 years of CNC mill experience, proficiency with Master CAM (X6), the ability to read drawings with GD&T, and knowledge of tooling criteria and material specs.

Qualifications

• More than 3 years’ experience in setting up and operating CNC Mill.
• Experience in Master CAM for Master CAM Version X6.
• Strong ability to read and interpret technical drawings and GD&T.
• Knowledge of tooling criteria, machining applications and process documentation.
• Knowledge of raw material specifications.
• Ability to work independently, self-motivated and organized.
• Able to work in rotating shifts.
• English reading and writing ability.
• Proficient in MS Excel and MS Word.
• Technical high school (SMK Mesin Produksi) or relevant.

Responsibilities

• Perform CNC programming and modify existing program for process improvement.
• Check materials and tools are required to perform programming.
• Analyzes and select speeds and cutting tools for program.
• Transfer CNC Programs to machine as per planned and Generate tooling list.
• Proper filing and documentation.
• Improve setup time and processing time for complex parts.
• Set parameters (feed rate, speed, etc.) according materials and tools selection in order to achieve optimum speed.
• Perform progressive machining operations for precision parts.
• Troubleshooting.
• Technical support for daily manufacturing process including design jig & fixtures.
• Carry out other duties as assigned by Sup
