Job summary

Hittech Wemac Sdn Bhd is seeking a skilled CNC Programmer to create, set up, and optimize programs for 3-, 4-, and 5-axis milling and turning. You will use Mastercam and SolidWorks to interpret drawings and develop efficient machining strategies.

You will simulate tool paths to meet cycle time, quality, and safety requirements, design jigs/fixtures, and support First Article and Initial Article processes. Strong focus on yield and on-time delivery.

• Expertise in interpreting engineering drawings and customer specifications.
• Ability to optimize machining strategies for efficiency and quality.
• Strong focus on achieving high first-pass yield.

Responsibilities

• Create, set up, and optimize CNC programs for 3-, 4-, and 5-axis milling/lathe operations using Mastercam and SolidWorks.
• Interpret drawings and specs to develop efficient machining strategies.
• Simulate and optimize tool paths to meet cycle time, quality, and safety requirements.
• Design jigs/fixtures and document machine setup processes.
• Support First Article (FA) and Initial Article (IA) processes and troubleshoot issues.
• Provide technical input for RFQs: estimate cycle time, setup time, tooling cost, and raw material specs.
• Ensure programming meets >85% yield on first run.
• Liaise with planning to ensure timely delivery of programs.
