PARADIGM METAL INDUSTRIES SDN. BHD. is seeking a skilled CNC Machinist to operate and set up production machines including CNC Milling, CNC Turning, and CNC Laser Cutting.

You will read engineering drawings, adjust machine parameters, and work to achieve dimensional accuracy and high-quality outputs. The ideal candidate has a technical certificate or diploma in mechanical engineering or related field, with 1–3 years of CNC machining experience.

Jobbeschreibung

Operate and set up production machines such as CNC Milling, CNC Turning, Press Brake/Bending, and CNC Laser Cutting machines according to production requirements.

Perform machine setup, tooling or die changes, material loading, and parameter adjustments.

Read and interpret engineering drawings, technical specifications, and work instructions accurately.

Monitor machine operation and production processes to ensure product quality and dimensional accuracy.

Perform first-piece inspection and in-process quality checks using measuring instruments such as vernier caliper and micrometer.

Make basic machine adjustments to achieve the required product specifications and quality standards.

Identify and troubleshoot basic machine, tooling, bending, machining, or laser cutting issues.

Perform basic machine cleaning, housekeeping, and minor maintenance as required.

Ensure proper handling, identification, and movement of raw materials, work-in-progress, and finished products.

Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment in accordance with company policies and safety procedures.

Work closely with Production and QA teams to achieve daily production targets and meet delivery schedules.

Perform other production-related duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Job Requirements:

Minimum SPM / SKM / Technical Certificate / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Machining, or a related field.

Minimum 1–3 years of working experience in CNC machining, sheet metal fabrication, bending, laser cutting, or a similar manufacturing environment.

Experience operating or setting up CNC machines, Press Brake/Bending machines, and/or CNC Laser Cutting machines.

Able to read and understand engineering drawings and work instructions.

Basic knowledge of machine setup, tooling, machine parameters, and production processes.

Familiar with measuring instruments such as vernier caliper, micrometer, height gauge, or other inspection tools.

Basic troubleshooting skills and ability to make machine adjustments when required.

Basic knowledge of G-code / M-code or CNC programming is an added advantage.

Able to work independently and as part of a team.

Willing to work shifts and overtime when required.

Responsible, disciplined, safety-conscious, and willing to learn.
