Job summary

Webby Group is seeking a seasoned Cloud Architect in Malaysia to lead pre-sales engagements. You will translate business needs into scalable cloud architectures using AWS, Azure, GCP, and Tencent Cloud, while delivering demos and PoCs.

The role requires strong communication, migration and modernization experience, and familiarity with AI integrations. You will collaborate closely with sales and clients to ensure secure, cost-effective solutions.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in cloud architecture or pre-sales.
• Hands-on with AWS cloud services; other clouds an advantage.
• Experience in cloud migration and modernization.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management.
• Knowledge of AI technologies is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Engage with clients to understand business needs and technical requirements.

Engage with clients to understand their business needs, technical requirements, and challenges.

Work closely with the sales team to develop cloud, AI, and software solutions that align with client objectives.

Design scalable, secure, and cost-effective solution architectures using AWS, Tencent Cloud, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud Platform (GCP), and other cloud technologies where appropriate.

Prepare and deliver technical presentations, demos, and proof of concepts (PoCs) to showcase Webby Group’s expertise.

Act as the primary technical advisor throughout the pre-sales cycle

Prepare technical proposals and respond to RFPs, RFIs, and RFQs.

Recommend best practices for cloud deployment, AI integration, DevOps, security, and scalability.

Provide cloud migration, modernization, infrastructure, security, and disaster recovery recommendations.

Conduct technical enablement sessions, workshops, webinars, and knowledge-sharing activities for customers and internal teams.

Stay update with emerging cloud technologies, AI trends, and industry best practices to continuously enhance Webby Group's solution portfolio.

Job Requirement

5+ years of experience in cloud architecture, consulting, infrastructure, or pre-sales roles.

Strong hands-on experience with AWS cloud services. Experience with Tencent Cloud, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP) is an advantage.

Experience in cloud migration, application modernization, and DevOps practices.

Strong communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.

Ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.

Knowledge of AI technologies, generative AI, machine learning services, or AI integration is an added advantage
