Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking a senior Cloud Architect to design scalable Azure architectures and lead hybrid/multi-cloud migration strategies. You will guide stakeholders on Azure solutions, provide governance, and oversee PoC initiatives for new Azure technologies.

The role requires deep Azure expertise, 6–8 years' infrastructure experience, and Azure certification. Travel may be required; you will mentor engineers and drive cost-efficient cloud optimization.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6-8 years of hands-on infrastructure design and implementation experience.
• 3 years or more of experience in Cloud Architecture and/or Operations, preferably with Microsoft Azure and Microsoft 365.
• Familiarity with multi-cloud environment is advantageous.
• Experienced in architecting infrastructure solutions on Azure for Linux/Unix and Windows, with expertise in server, load balancing, HA/DR, and storage architectures and Azure services such as Kubernetes, Dockers, Functions, Azure SQL/MI.
• Knowledge of automated DevOps release management pipeline is a plus.
• Azure certification is required.
• Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work under pressure and changing priorities.
• Willingness to travel for short-term and long-term project assignments, understanding the consulting lifestyle.

• Mentor junior architects and engineers, fostering a culture of technical excellence.
• Stay up to date with Azure innovations, identifying new opportunities for cloud optimization and automation.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex cloud infrastructure and application issues.
• Mentor junior team members and provide knowledge-sharing sessions on Azure best practices.
