Job summary

SF Express Corporation seeks an IT Application Operation Engineer Level 1 to join our global support team. You will ensure stability and performance of cloud infrastructure and business systems, with focus on incident management and continuous improvement across overseas platforms.

You will work in a 24×7 shift, collaborating with global teams to optimize architecture, monitoring, and delivery of reliable services using cloud-native solutions.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in cloud or application operations.
• Proficiency in Linux with scripting experience.
• Experience with Java application servers (Tomcat, Nginx, Apache).
• Familiarity with Google Cloud Platform services (Compute Engine, GKE, VPC, Load Balancing, Cloud Storage).
• Knowledge of MySQL and MongoDB with backup/recovery experience.
• Familiarity with monitoring systems and custom monitoring solutions.
• Knowledge of ITIL and DevOps practices.
• Professional English required; Mandarin reading/writing is a plus.
• Willingness to work in a 24×7 shift rotation.
• Cloud certifications (GCP/AWS/Alibaba) are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Operate, maintain, and support overseas business systems and cloud infrastructure.
• Identify risks across architecture, monitoring, capacity, and performance and drive optimization.
• Support system and infrastructure changes through the change lifecycle.
• Participate in 7×24 incident management: monitoring, troubleshooting, escalation, and resolution.
• Handle major incidents with rapid diagnosis, recovery, root cause analysis, and preventive improvements.
• Monitor systems and cloud components, respond to alerts, manage abnormal events.
• Collaborate to implement and maintain cloud-native and distributed system solutions.
• Manage service quality via incident tracking, reporting, and analysis.
• Drive operational efficiency by reducing incident volume and preventive measures.
