Job summary

Epicor seeks a Cloud Operations Engineer to support Tier 2 incidents in our Azure-based production environment. You will triage cross-functional issues, manage lifecycle of incidents in ServiceNow, and ensure timely resolutions across application, database, and network layers.

Responsibilities include troubleshooting deployments, CI/CD pipelines, and customer go-lives, with occasional weekend activities. Hybrid work arrangement, strong collaboration with Tier 1/3 teams, and continuous

Qualifications

3+ years of experience in cloud operations, production support, or related field.
Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure production environments.
Experience supporting containers and Kubernetes in production.
Experience using Microsoft SQL Server for troubleshooting.
Experience managing escalated incidents (P1, system-down).
Experience with CI/CD pipelines and deployment activities is preferred.
Experience with ServiceNow or similar ITSM platform is preferred.
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
Relevant certifications like Azure/ Kubernetes are preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

Investigates and resolves Tier 2 incidents involving cloud-hosted production apps and infra.
Triages issues across app, database, network, infra, and product teams with clear ownership.
Manage incidents and tasks through ServiceNow per SLA and escalation paths.
Administers production environments on Microsoft Azure incl. VMs, storage, networking, containers, Kubernetes.
Troubleshoot app availability, performance, deployments, connectivity, and SQL issues.
Support automated deployments, CI/CD, upgrades, and customer go-lives.
Escalate unresolved issues to Tier 3 or Development with follow-up.
Serve as SME for Tier 1 Cloud Operations and other internal teams.
Create/maintain ops docs, guides, and automation opportunities.
Occasional scheduled weekend deployments, upgrades, and maintenance.
