YZ Intelligence (Hong Kong) Co. , Limited in Kuala Lumpur is seeking a Cloud Engineer to manage after-sales operation and maintenance of private cloud environments, ensuring service stability and optimal performance through automation.

Candidates should have 3+ years in cloud delivery/operations, hands-on with AWS/Azure/Oracle, Linux, containers (Docker/K8s), networking, and scripting (Python/PowerShell/Shell). A rotation of 24x7 is required.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of practical experience in cloud computing delivery/operation.
• Proficient in at least one mainstream cloud platform (AWS/Azure/Oracle) products such as AWS EC2, ELB or Azure VM, VNet services.
• Deep understanding of Linux operating system, containers (Docker/K8S), and networking; strong troubleshooting skills.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the after-sales operation and maintenance of private cloud products, including service inspection, emergency fault handling, resource expansion, and version change.
• Manage customer issues, track stability risks and issues, ensure stable operation of the customer environment, and promote product improvement and optimization.
• Identify urgent and important events, pull back-end resources to resolve problems, and reduce business impact for customers.
• Continue accumulating operation and maintenance experience, develop SOPs, improve team capabilities and service levels.

Job description

Job Summary: We are looking for a Cloud Engineer to manage the after-sales operation and maintenance of private cloud environments. The role involves ensuring service stability, handling incidents, performing resource expansion, and optimizing system performance. You will work closely with customers to resolve technical issues, improve operational efficiency through automation, and contribute to continuous product and process improvement. Candidates with experience in major cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Oracle) and a strong background in Linux, containers (Docker/K8s), and networking are highly preferred.

1. Responsible for the after-sales operation and maintenance of private cloud products, including service inspection, emergency fault handling, resource expansion, and version change;

2. Manage customer issues, continuously track stability risks and issues, ensure stable operation of the customer environment, and promote product improvement and optimization;

3. Identify the urgent and important events of the customer, timely pull the back-end resources to promote the problem-solving, reduce the impact of the customer's business;

4. Continuously accumulate operation and maintenance experience, accumulate SOPs, improve the technical ability and service level of the team, and provide high-quality operation and maintenance services to customers.

Requirements:

Computer Science information technology or a related field, more than 3 years of practical experience in cloud computing delivery/operation, proficient in at least one mainstream cloud platform (AWS/Azure/Oracle) product, such as AWS EC2, ELB or Azure VM, VNet services

Deep understanding of Linux operating system, container, network-related concepts (Docker/K8S, TCP/IP, DNS, VPC), with strong troubleshooting ability

Familiar with at least one scripting language (Python, PowerShell, Shell), can complete automation tasks

Understand the operation and maintenance changes and data security regulations, have a sense of reverence and compliance for the production environment.

Strong problem-solving ability, proactive work attitude and good teamwork ability.

Preference will be given to candidates who hold relevant cloud certifications (such as AWS Certified Systems Operations Engineer, Azure Certified Administrator Associate).

Able to accept to work rotational shift 24*7.
