Job summary

Maxis Broadband Sdn Bhd is seeking a senior leader to define and execute the network and cloud infrastructure strategy in Malaysia. The role oversees architecture for network, compute, storage and cloud, and drives modernization efforts from on‑prem to cloud and hybrid models.

You will collaborate with cybersecurity and application teams to ensure secure, scalable and reliable infrastructure while managing budgets, SLAs and operational KPIs in a dynamic telecom environment.

Qualifications

• Experience defining network and cloud infrastructure strategy.
• Proven ability to lead infrastructure architecture for hybrid environments.
• Strong capacity planning, demand forecasting and lifecycle management.

Responsibilities

• Define and execute the network and cloud infrastructure strategy.
• Lead infrastructure architecture across network, compute, storage and cloud.
• Oversee capacity planning, demand forecasting and technology lifecycle management.
• Drive migrations from on‑prem to cloud, hybrid and multi‑cloud models.
• Partner with enterprise architecture, cybersecurity and applications teams.
• Ensure high availability, performance and resilience of platforms.
• Own uptime, SLAs and operational KPIs; manage budgets and FinOps.
