Job summary

KPJ Selangor Specialist Hospital in Malaysia seeks a Lecturer to plan, coordinate and deliver academic and clinical training across nursing/healthcare programmes. The role covers teaching hours, curriculum alignment, and student development under the Master Plan.

You will supervise clinical assessments, maintain student records, and provide feedback, mentoring, and counselling to support learning and progress.

Responsibilities

• Lecturer can be assigned to be in charge of a group of students or assigned to be in charge of a semester.
• Carry out all the teaching hours that have been assigned.
• Teach all relevant subjects in the programmes that have been assigned in accordance with curriculum and teachers guide using varying teaching methodology.
• Plan and coordinate the students learning in Master Planner.
• Ensuring all learning activities are being carried out according to Master Plan.
• Planning and coordinating study visits for students applicable to the learning needs.
• Planning and coordinating students’ practical experiences.
• Supervising and conduct clinical assessment of students.
• Providing support to effective student learning through mentor/mentee system, counselling and tutorials.
• Maintaining students’ document pertaining to students’ academic and clinical performance.
• Providing feedback to students on academic and clinical performance.
• Organising and ensuring that students’ clinical proficiency log books are signed and updated according.
• Identify, Support and guide those students who do not achieve their clinical log book and contact hours according to requirements.
