Job summary

KPJ Healthcare Berhad in Malaysia is seeking an experienced nursing educator to plan, deliver, and supervise undergraduate teaching across clinical and classroom settings. You will develop course materials, assessments and simulation-based learning, while guiding students through clinical placements and maintaining high standards of patient-centered care.

The role requires a Bachelor’s in Nursing with Post Basic, current APC, and at least five years of clinical experience, plus strong

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing with Post Basic
• Registered Nurse (RN) with APC from the Nursing Board Malaysia
• Minimum of 5 years of clinical experience as a RN
• Strong teaching and presentation skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
• Commitment to student-centered learning
• Ability to integrate theory and clinical practice effectively
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and learning management systems (LMS)

Responsibilities

• Plan, prepare and deliver lectures, tutorials, clinical demonstrations, and simulation-based learning.
• Develop course materials, lesson plans, and assessment tools aligned to curriculum requirements.
• Supervise and assess student performance in both theory and clinical practice.
• Guide and mentor students during clinical placements in hospitals, clinics, or community settings.
• Design, conduct, and evaluate formative and summative assessments.
• Engage in scholarly activities, such as research, publications, or conferences, related to nursing education.
• Support the programme in accreditation, audit, and curriculum development exercises.
