Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking a clinic assistant to help register patients, manage appointments, and support doctors during consultations. The role requires good communication and basic medical knowledge to handle routine tasks and patient inquiries.

The successful candidate will maintain patient confidentiality, work well in a team, and be able to adapt to shift schedules, including weekends and public holidays if required.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years experience in a clinic, pharmacy, or healthcare setting is an advantage.
• Basic computer skills and ability to use clinic management systems.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Able to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays if required.
• Responsible, caring, and able to maintain patient confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Register patients and update patient records.
• Schedule and manage appointments.
• Answer phone calls and attend to patient enquiries.
• Assist doctors during consultations and basic medical procedures.
• Dispense medication according to doctor's instructions.
• Handle payment collection, billing, and receipts.
• Maintain cleanliness of consultation rooms and waiting areas.
• Monitor and replenish medical supplies and clinic inventory.
• Prepare and submit insurance or panel claims, if applicable.
• Perform other administrative duties assigned by the doctor or clinic manager.
