Jora Malaysia is seeking a qualified Medical Assistant or Nurse to join our clinic support team in Malacca. You will handle dispensing prescriptions, verify labels, and maintain dispensing area cleanliness while ensuring patient safety and confidentiality.
You will liaise with prescribers, counsel patients on adverse reactions and drug interactions, manage inventory, and support administrative tasks to keep clinic operations smooth.

Responsible for the proper handling of medications, including dispensing prescriptions, maintaining cleanliness in the dispensing area, verifying labels of all dispensed drugs, and ensuring compliance with medication-related procedures.
Ensure patient safety by preparing and supervising the filling and refilling of prescriptions, and providing counselling to patients regarding possible adverse reactions and interactions with other medications, food, or beverages.
Communicate with prescribers whenever a prescription is unclear, incomplete, or potentially harmful to the patient.
Accountable for quality assurance processes, including handling customer returns related to defective products.
Maintain accurate patient records while ensuring strict confidentiality of sensitive information.
Perform administrative tasks for the clinic, including monitoring inventory to ensure adequate stock of products and medications, and preparing and filing required reports.
Contribute to improving operational systems and the overall workflow within the clinic.
Comply with all instructions and directives from the management team in the performance of duties.
Assist with any other tasks assigned by supervisors or management from time to time.
Certificate or Diploma inMedical Assistant or Nursing with a valid current practising certificate and any other relevant qualifications.
Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role within a clinic or healthcare setting.
Possess strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with patients and healthcare professionals.
Proficient in both spoken and written English and Bahasa Malaysia.
