Job summary

Global Doctors Clinic Langkawi is seeking a reliable Clinic Administrator to join our team in Langkawi. The role involves patient services, front desk administration, billing, and day-to-day clinic operations, working closely with doctors, nurses and management.

Ideal candidates will have a minimum SPM or diploma and strong communication in Bahasa Malaysia and English. Residents of Langkawi are preferred, with opportunities for responsibility growth within a small clinic team.

• Experience in administration, healthcare, hospitality or customer service is an advantage.
• Good communication in Bahasa Malaysia and English.
• Comfortable using computers, email, WhatsApp and office apps.

Responsibilities

• Manage patient registration, appointments and front desk enquiries.
• Attend to telephone and WhatsApp enquiries professionally.
• Handle billing, payments, receipts and daily records.
• Maintain clinic records, filing and admin documentation.
• Assist with panel and insurance-related administrative matters.
• Support stock management, purchasing and routine clinic administration.
• Liaise with doctors, nurses and management on day-to-day matters.
• Ensure the clinic runs smoothly and welcoming for patients.

Job description

We are looking for a reliable and organised Clinic Administrator to join our team in Langkawi. This is a hands‑on role for someone who enjoys working with people, keeping things organised and being involved in the day‑to‑day running of a clinic.

You will support patient services, front desk administration, billing and payments, and general clinic operations while working closely with our doctors, nurses and management team. For the right person, there will be opportunities to learn, take on greater responsibilities and grow with the clinic.

Key responsibilities

• Manage patient registration, appointments and front desk enquiries
• Attend to telephone and WhatsApp enquiries professionally
• Handle billing, payments, receipts and daily transaction records
• Maintain clinic records, filing and administrative documentation
• Assist with panel and insurance‑related administrative matters
• Support stock management, purchasing and routine clinic administration
• Assist with patient registration and general clinic flow when required
• Liaise with doctors, nurses and management on day‑to‑day operational matters
• Help ensure the clinic runs smoothly and maintains a welcoming, organised environment for patients

Requirements

• Minimum SPM, Diploma or equivalent
• Previous experience in administration, healthcare, hospitality, customer service or a similar role is an advantage
• Good communication skills in Bahasa Malaysia and English
• Comfortable using computers, email, WhatsApp and Microsoft Office or Google applications
• Organised, responsible and able to work independently
• Good interpersonal skills and a professional attitude when dealing with patients
• Willing to learn and take on additional responsibilities as the role develops
• Candidates currently residing in Langkawi are preferred
• EPF, SOCSO and statutory contributions
