Medilove Clinic in Penang, Malaysia is seeking a dedicated Clinic Assistant to support our medical team and deliver quality patient care in a fast-paced environment.
You will handle patient registration, scheduling, and flow management, verify details, and assist with basic clinical tasks under doctor supervision.
The role includes dispensing medication as prescribed, preparing rooms, maintaining records, coordinating with insurance, and ensuring a clean, welcoming clinic.
We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate Clinic Assistant to support our medical team in delivering quality patient care. The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented and able to work efficiently in a fast-paced clinical environment while providing excellent service to patients.
Register patients and ensure accurate entry of patient information into the clinic management system.
Verify patient details, medical records and payment eligibility where applicable.
Answer phone calls, WhatsApp enquiries and assist with appointment bookings and rescheduling.
Ensure smooth patient movement from registration, consultation, treatment, dispensing to payment.
Dispense medications accurately according to the doctor's prescription.
Minimize patient waiting time by maintaining an organized clinic workflow.
Measure and record patients' vital signs, including blood pressure, pulse, temperature, weight, height and oxygen saturation.
Prepare consultation rooms and ensure all necessary equipment and consumables are available.
Assist doctors during consultations, minor procedures, wound dressing, vaccinations, nebulization, ECG, health screening, and other treatments when required.
Prepare and clean treatment rooms before and after each patient.
Assist with insurance claims, panel patient documentation and medical reports.
Prepare daily reports, cash reconciliation, and clinic administrative documents.
Assist in stock ordering, stock receiving, stock counting and stock reconciliation.
Ensure consultation rooms, treatment rooms and waiting areas are clean, organized, and well-stocked.
Prepare medical letters, reports, and other documents as requested by the doctor.
Monitor outstanding tasks and follow up to ensure all documentation and processes are completed promptly.
Maintain accurate patient records and uphold confidentiality in accordance with clinic policies.
Minimum SPM qualification or equivalent.
Previous experience in a GP clinic, pharmacy, or healthcare setting is an advantage.
Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply (training provided).
Able to communicate in English, Bahasa Malaysia, and Mandarin is an added advantage.
Friendly, caring, and professional attitude.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficient in basic computer skills.
Willing to work on weekends and public holidays according to the clinic roster.
