Job summary

Hytech in Malaysia is seeking a proactive KOL & influencer marketing specialist to drive brand awareness and conversions across Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, and other channels. You will manage relationships with KOLs, negotiate terms, and collaborate with creative, content, and product teams to align campaigns with brand guidelines.

Ideal candidates have proven influencer campaign experience, strong negotiation and analytics skills, and fluency in English; Mandarin or other languages are a plus.

Qualifications

• Great interest in the financial services industry.
• Experience managing KOL, influencer, or media buy campaigns.
• Strong negotiation skills and ability to build relationships with partners.
• Strong analytical skills to translate data into strategy.
• Self-starter capable of managing multiple campaigns and deadlines.
• Excellent written and verbal English; Mandarin proficiency is advantageous.
• LATAM market exposure and Spanish/Portuguese network is a plus.

Role and Responsibilities:

• Identify, recruit, and manage relationships with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs), influencers, and content creators to drive brand awareness and conversions.
• Plan, execute, and optimise KOL and influencer marketing campaigns across relevant channels (Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, and other social/media platforms).
• Negotiate partnership terms, contracts, and deliverables with KOLs, talent agencies, and media partners.
• Analyse campaign performance and KOL-driven conversion data to improve ROI, reach, and marketing efficiency.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams (creative, content, product, compliance) to align KOL strategies with overall business goals and brand guidelines.
• Identify trends, insights, and emerging creators in the influencer and paid media landscape to stay ahead of the curve.
• Act as the main point of contact for KOL partners, building long‑term, trust‑based relationships that support sustained growth.

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Great interest in the financial services industry.
• Proven experience managing KOL, influencer, or media buy relationships and campaigns.
• Strong negotiation skills, with the ability to build and maintain productive relationships with KOLs, agencies, and partners.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and translate insights into actionable strategies.
• A self-starter attitude, capable of managing multiple campaigns, partners, and deadlines in a fast‑paced environment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; working proficiency in Mandarin is highly regarded, and other additional European language skills are advantageous.
• Experience with, or exposure to, the LATAM market is a strong advantage — fluency in Spanish and/or Portuguese, or an existing network of LATAM‑based KOLs and influencers, will set you apart
