Job summary

Allianz Malaysia is seeking a Liability Claims professional to conduct comprehensive assessment, investigation and management of Liability Claims, including coverage determination, liability evaluation and settlements. The role emphasizes fair outcomes, cost effectiveness and regulatory compliance.

You will collaborate with adjusters, solicitors and service providers, while supporting digitalisation and process improvements to enhance customer experience.

Qualifications

• Degree in Insurance, Law, Business, Finance or related discipline required.

Job Summary

To conduct comprehensive assessment, investigation and management of Liability Claims, including coverage determination, liability evaluation, negotiations, recovery actions and settlement of claims, whilst ensuring fair outcomes, cost effectiveness and compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Assess and manage Liability Claims by reviewing relevant claim documentation, determining policy coverage and evaluating liability exposure.


• Conduct investigations and work closely with adjusters, solicitors, medical specialists and other service providers to facilitate claim resolution.


• Negotiate with claimants, solicitors and other stakeholders to achieve fair, timely and cost-effective claim settlements.


• Manage recovery and subrogation opportunities to mitigate claim costs where applicable.


• Handle claim enquiries and collaborate with customers, agents, brokers and internal stakeholders to ensure effective claims management and service delivery.


• Support process improvement, digitalisation and system enhancement initiatives to improve operational efficiency and customer experience.
