Job summary

Allianz Malaysia is seeking an actuarial professional to perform actuarial analysis and develop and maintain models. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide insights that support decision-making and risk management.

• Undergraduate degree in Actuarial Science or mathematics/statistics.
• Fresh graduates or up to 4 years of relevant experience encouraged.
• Progress in internationally recognised actuarial examinations.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong computer skills: Excel, Word, PowerPoint; Python coding is an added advantage.
• Proficient in AI tools such as ChatGPT or Copilot.

You will be responsible for performing actuarial analysis, developing and maintaining actuarial models. You’ll Be Responsible For

• Support the Appointed Actuary in valuation of insur-ance liabilities, preparation of Financial Condition Report and any other statutory and financial report-ing.


• Provide support to the Internal Capital Adequacy As-sessment Process (ICAAP) and any other capital management matters.


• Provide statistical and analytical support to other business units.


• Maintain systems, processes and documentation to ensure delivery of quality actuarial advice and out-puts.

Important To Your Success

• Undergraduate degree in Actuarial Science or an-other Mathematics/Statistics based major


• Fresh graduates and talents with up to 4 years of rel-evant work experience are encouraged to apply.


• Good progress in internationally recognised actuarial examinations.


• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.


• Strong computer application skills, eg: Microsoft Ex-cel, Word, PowerPoint, etc. Strong Python coding skills are an added advantage.


• Proficient in the use of AI tools such as ChatGPT, Copilot, or similar technologies to enhance productivity and work quality.
